5.1 HSE Governance and Policy

In Chapter 4, we outlined our corporate

governance structure and risk management

approach. Of equal importance is the Group’s

health, safety and environmental (HSE)

governance in defining our sustainability strategy.

As well as helping to reinforce our sustainability

strategy, it showcases how our top management

is fully engaged in providing strong sustainability

leadership.

Our HSE Policy is in place so that we carry out our operations in a way which poses

no risk to the health, well-being and safety of our employees, contractors, customers

or the general public. The HSE Policy provides the framework for the development of

guidelines with regard to environmental protection, health and safety.
