ENVIRONMENTAL
PERFORMANCE
At Towngas, environmental considerations are central to our decision-making and management
processes. The threat posed by unprecedented climate change, environmental degradation and
the depletion of natural resources means we have to commit to reducing the environmental
footprint of our energy services at source and search for cleaner fuels. To face these challenges,
we support innovation, invest in technology and businesses that lessen our environmental
impact, stimulate long-term growth and strive for the highest standards of operational
efficiency.
Towngas complies fully with all applicable environmental laws and regulations and, in many
instances, works beyond compliable standards. During 2016, no critical non-compliance reports
were received.
